I have always been fascinated by photography. At age twelve I owned my very first camera and I have been taking pictures ever since. However it wasn’t until the mid nineteen-nineties when my passion for photography truly ignited. I came to realize that taking pictures didn’t just mean capturing various shapes of objects, but that photos, at their passionate and truthful best, reveal stories which can’t be told in words. Photography is about gently catching light within a fraction of a second and at the same time trapping emotions, beauty and innocence. As simple as is the brief moment when a picture is taken, the imagination, curiosity and emotions sparked by the resulting photo will always be superior to the innocent moment the shutter opened.
